As of 1 July 2021, the following data providers and their classification systems for the turnover tax are officially recognised by the FTA:
- SIX Financial Information Ltd; Zurich
- Bloomberg Finance L.P.; New York
- Refinitiv SA; Collonge-Bellerive
Domestic securities dealers who rely on the securities data of a recognised data provider will not receive any correction from the FTA in the event of an incorrect classification (neither in favour nor against). Domestic securities dealers who have not opted to use the classification by a recognised data provider are still fully responsible for the correct classification themselves.
The communication of 23 August 2021 is available here and replaces the communication of 2007.
