The Swiss Federal Tax Administration (FTA) continues to expand its online applications. The announced switch from paper invoicing to online invoicing will take place on 1 January 2021.
In future, taxpayers will be required to declare VAT only online. After the introduction of "MWST Abrechnung easy" the paper invoice will only be available on order.
In addition to "ESTV SuisseTax", from 1 January 2021 (the date may be delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic), "MWST-Abrechnung easy" will offer a further option for easy online VAT declaration.
"MWST Abrechnung easy" has a simple login and offers trust companies the possibility to have their clients sign the statement.
