The Federal Tax Administration (FTA) has published the first withholding tax rates for 2019.

The FTA makes the cantonal withholding tax rates available on its website:

  • The withholding tax rates for the cantons BE, FR, GE, GL, JU, VD and VS have been published. These cantons have already created the tariff file.
  • The cantons of AI, BL, BS, NE, OW, SO, TG, TI, ZG and ZH have decided not to recalculate the tariffs.
  • The cantons AG, AR, GR, LU, NW, SG, SH, SZ and UR will calculate new tariffs, but have not yet created the tariff file.
