On 18 February 2020, the Federal Tax Administration (FTA) published the circular "List of surrenderable Pillar 3b endowment insurance policies, as at 31 December 2019" (2-181-D-2020-d).
According to the accompanying letter, the list contains all Pillar 3b insurance products on the market that have been submitted to the FTA for assessment with regard to the income tax privileges under Art. 20 para. 1 letter a and Art. 24 letter b of the DBA.
