With 54.34% (provisional final result) on 21 March 2017, the voters in the Canton of Lucerne rejected an increase in the state tax rate for 2017 to 1.70 units.
According to media information, the canton of Lucerne is thus losing CHF 64 million. In addition, the Canton of Lucerne still has no valid budget for 2017 (see NZZ of 21 May 2017).
