On 21 December 2021, the FTA announced that Switzerland must make great efforts to maintain its attractiveness as a business location.
To achieve this, investments must be made, including in particular the necessary tax proposals that will secure long-term tax revenues. One of the first necessary tax proposals is the abolition of the issue tax, which will be decided by the voters on 13 February 2022.
In the coming years, the tax proposals are intended to provide targeted relief for companies in order to secure jobs.
