The Motion "Fees at the federal level. Compliance with the principle of equivalence and cost recovery" was accepted by both parliamentary councils.
According to the motion "Fees at federal level. Adherence to the principle of equivalence and cost recovery" (18.3303) by National Councillor Alois Gmür, the Federal Council is instructed to make the necessary adjustments to the General Fees Ordinance (AllgGebV) to ensure that the principle of cost recovery and equivalence is sufficiently taken into account when setting or increasing fees at federal level and that the price supervisor is consulted regularly and in good time when fees are set at federal level.
The Federal Council has requested that the motion be accepted. The National Council has already approved the motion in its session of 15 June 2018. The Council of States also approved the motion in its meeting on 3 December 2018.
