On 12 December 2017, the Swiss Federal Tax Administration (FTA) published a supplement on the topic of "electronic business transactions EGV".
According to a communication of 13 December 2017, there is no distinction in archiving between paper invoices, scanned paper invoices and electronic invoices. It must be possible to ensure compliance with the underlying business transactions as well as readability.
