In its session of 4 June 2020, the National Council rejected the amendment of the Customs Tariff Act (abolition of industrial tariffs).
The Federal Council proposed the lifting of industrial tariffs and wanted to improve the economic conditions for companies and relieve the burden on consumers by lifting industrial tariffs.
The National Council rejects this at its meeting on 4 June 2020.
