At its meeting on 27 February 2017, the National Council rejected a motion to ensure tax transparency for high management salaries.

According to a motion by Jacques-André Maire (15.3100), the Federal Council should be instructed to draw up a proposal in which it sets out how a legal provision can be used to ensure tax transparency for managers above a certain income threshold.

At its meeting on 27 January 2017, the National Council (first deliberating council) rejected the motion by 53 votes to 139 with 0 abstentions.
