The Federal Tax Administration (FTA) has calculated and published the tax burden in the cantons and municipalities for the year 2016.
According to a press release dated 14 June 2017, the FTA has issued its annual publication "Tax burden in Switzerland, cantonal capitals - Cantonal figures 2016". The publication shows the differences in the tax burden in terms of cantonal, municipal and church taxes.
The data published by the FTA include the tax burden for:
- Taxes on income and wealth of natural persons
- taxes on profits and capital of legal entities
- Inheritance Taxes
