The project "Steuerliche Wegzugsmeldungen CHM-ZH" (tax exit reports CHM-ZH) is entering the practical test phase. From 1 June 2017, the Zurich pilot communities will receive productive electronic departure notifications.
According to a media release dated 29 May 2017, the pilot municipalities (Adliswil, Dübendorf, Erlenbach, Knonau, Lufingen, Pfäffikon, Schwerzenbach and Zurich) will go live with the electronic departure notifications as of 1 June 2017. All Zurich tax offices will be able to receive these tax exit notifications and process them accordingly. At present, the majority of withdrawal notifications are still processed manually.
If the pilot phase is completed successfully, the general introduction in the municipalities will take place from 1 August 2017.
