According to the Federal Council's media release dated June 15, 2023, the electronic vignette (e-vignette) will be introduced in a dual system in addition to the adhesive vignette on August 1, 2023. Anyone using Swiss national roads will thus be able to choose the form of vignette in the future.
The Federal Council has approved the necessary total revision of the National Roads Levy Ordinance (NSAV) and decided to bring it into force together with the revised National Roads Levy Act (NSAG) on August 1, 2023.
