The Federal Council signed a double taxation agreement (DTA) with Saudi Arabia on February 18, 2018.
According to a press release issued by the Federal Department of Finance (FDF) on 18 February 2018, Federal Councillor Ueli Maurer signed a DTA with Saudi Arabia in Riyadh on 18 February 2018
The taxes covered by the Agreement include taxes on income and wealth levied in Switzerland by the Confederation, cantons and municipalities as well as Zakat levied in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and income tax (including natural gas investment tax).
