At its meeting on 22 August 2018, the Federal Council adopted the dispatch on an amendment protocol to the double taxation agreement (DTA) with the UK.
The Protocol of Amendment of 30 November 2017 to the existing DTA of 8 December 1977 implements certain minimum standards of the BEPS project bilaterally, in particular a general agreement abuse clause is included in the DTA.
