The Federal Finance Administration (FFA) published the Tax Utilisation Index 2022 on 6 January 2022.
According to this, on average in Switzerland, the cantons and municipalities exploit around a quarter of their resource potential through fiscal charges. The tax burden has fallen in around 60 % of the cantons.
