The Federal Tax Administration (FTA) has published Circular No. 217 "Information sheets on withholding tax and overviews of double taxation agreements" (as of January 1, 2026).
Circular No. 217 (as of January 1, 2026) explains the adjustments resulting from a newly concluded double taxation agreement with Jordan. In addition, according to statistical evaluations by the FSO, the median value is now CHF 5,875 per month.
