On June 16, 2023, the Swiss Federal Tax Administration (FTA) published a declaration guide for the new VAT rates that will apply from January 1, 2024. The instructions use examples to explain what to look out for in the declaration.
The new tax rates are applicable for the first time for the 3rd quarter 2023, for the 2nd semester 2023 and for the month of July 2023.
