On 1 July 2022, the FTA published the "Tax statistics 2021 - At a glance". The leaflet presents figures for the various types of federal taxes, statistical evaluations on individuals and legal entities, and the tax burden in Switzerland.
The leaflet is divided into the following parts:
- Revenue development from direct federal tax, value added tax, stamp duties and withholding tax;
- Revenue development of direct federal tax: natural persons and legal entities per canton;
- Statistics on the wealth of natural persons by canton and
- Tax burden of natural persons and legal entities as well as key figures for VAT by economic activity.
