On November 20, 2025, the Federal Tax Administration (FTA) published new analyses on the distribution of taxable assets in Switzerland.

The share of the top one percent of total taxable assets was 45.8% in 2022, almost the same level as the previous year. There were slight declines, particularly in cantons with previously high concentration values; the canton of Geneva was an exception here. The average taxable net wealth per taxable person amounted to around CHF 441,000 and was therefore slightly lower than in the previous year when adjusted for price. The results are based on the 2022 nationwide statistics on taxed assets.
