On December 17, 2025, the FTA announced that Refinitiv SA would relinquish its status as a data supplier recognized by the FTA for the classification of taxable documents in the area of sales tax as of January 1, 2026.
The FTA hereby informs Refinitiv SA's customers that, as of January 1, 2026, they will no longer be able to rely on Refinitiv SA's classification system for sales tax.
For the sake of completeness, it should be noted that, as of January 1, 2026, SIX Financial Information AG, Zurich, is currently the only data supplier recognized by the FTA in the area of sales tax.
