At its meeting on December 7, 2017, the National Council adopted a motion to waive the revision of criminal tax law.

In accordance with the motion of the Committee for Economic Affairs and Taxation of the National Council; WAK-N (17.3706), the Federal Council should definitely waive the bill on the revision of the criminal tax law, which it submitted for consultation from 29 May 2013 to 30 September 2013 and postponed on 4 November 2015.

The Federal Council proposes that the motion be accepted.

In its session of 7 December 2017, the National Council (first chamber) adopted the motion by 120 votes to 64 with 1 abstention.
