At its meeting on 26 February 2018, the Council of States adopted the Protocol amending the double taxation agreement (DTA) with Latvia.
In accordance with the business of the Federal Council (17,045), a protocol on the amendment of the DTA between Switzerland and Latvia will be submitted to the two parliamentary councils for approval.
At its meeting on 26 February 2018, the Council of States unanimously approved the protocol to the DTA and the federal decision on the approval of the protocol to amend the double taxation agreement between Switzerland and Latvia. On 13 December 2017 the National Council had already approved the proposal (see our contribution of 16 December 2017).
