Voting results of 9 February 2020.

  • Canton of Geneva: The dog tax will not be abolished (67.3%);
  • Canton of Solothurn: Implementation of the tax reform and AHV financing in 2020 was assumed to be 82.1%;
  • Canton Thurgau: The amendment to the cantonal tax law (STAF) was accepted with 62.7%;
  • Canton of Zurich: Both popular initiatives were rejected (variant A "For the relief of lower and middle incomes (relief initiative)" with 41.95%, variant B "SME initiative - less tax burden for all" with 29.63%).

In the other cantons (AG, AI, AR, BE, BL, BS, FR, GL, GR, JU, LU, NE, NW, OW, SG, SH, SZ, TI, UR, VD, VS, ZG) no referenda with relevance to tax law took place.
