Manuel obtained a Master of Law from the University of Basel in 2014. During his studies, Manuel was a research assistant at the University Hospital Basel (2013-2014) and a trainee at Syngenta.
After studying law at the University of Basel Manuel Kreis with Ernst & Young and UBS Asset Management as a lawyer (2014-2016). After the usual court and law internships (2016-2017), he was admitted to the bar in the canton of Basel-Landschaft in 2018. He has been a part-time judge at the Social Insurance Court of Basel-Stadt since 2016 and a member of the Basel City Council since 2017. Manuel Kreis is currently a doctoral student and research assistant at the University of Lucerne.
