Elisabetta is a tax consultant with consultant at EY and author at taxlawblog.ch.
Education: Elisabetta completed her Master of Laws in 2014 and worked as a research assistant for Prof. Dr. Madeleine Simonek at the University of Zurich from 2014 to 2017. During her time at the Chair of Swiss and International Tax Law, Elisabetta wrote a dissertation on the taxation of the digital economy ("The taxation of the digital economy: implications for tax sovereignty and tax distribution norms"), which was accepted at the University of Zurich in the summer of 2019. She is currently completing her training as a federal tax expert.
Work experience: Elisabetta has been working as a tax consultant at EY in International Tax Services (ITS) since 2020. Prior to this she worked as a consultant for a renowned tax law firm in Zurich. Elisabetta focuses on tax advice for international companies and private individuals and on taxation of the digital economy.
